Mignechi Nero d'Avola
con of the Sicilian vines, Nero d'Avola evokes the character, the wine making tradition. Our Mignechi is the faithful expression of the power and elegance of the variety that manifests itself in the authentic fullness of its fruit. Emblem of the cult of viticulture handed down from generation to generation, obedient to sacrifice and resilience. The maceration takes place in steel preserving the polyphenolic properties of the grapes, the passage in French oak barrels can give character and balance the peculiarities of this wine. It stands out for its elegance, for the strength it manages to release, for the long finish.

Hand-picked in 15 kg crates, mid-late September.
Keeping tradition the grapes are harvested by hand, soft pressing to keep the properties intact. The must is left to macerate on the skins for two weeks at a controlled temperature. After a first fermentation in stainless steel tanks, Mignechi goes through the wood for 12 months and a further 12 months of aging in the bottle.
Highly recommended to serve it between 16° and 18° C. Ideally served with red meat or goes well with seasoned cheese.
Al naso risulta deciso, spiccano distintamente le note di frutti a bacca rossa, di vaniglia e spezie orientali. Il bouquet è completato da sentori di vaniglia, caffè ed infine cioccolato.
Alla vista appare rosso rubino, vivido, con sfumature viola sulla superfice.
Il sorso si avverte pieno ed avvolgente. Le note di ribes nero e chiodi di garofano anticipano un suadente vanigliato ed un avvolgente cacao. Il finale lungo è piacevole come il tannino elegante.
